Hello, I’m Jacqueline!
I’ve been a Professional Wedding and Funeral Celebrant for eight years and I love to tell people that, in my opinion, it’s the best job in the world!
As well as working as an Independent Celebrant, I am the co-founder of ‘The Celebrant Circle,’ an international training and membership organisation for professional celebrants. We support and mentor our students to become the best Celebrants in the world!
I am passionate about my work and in the Celebrant Circle, where all members adhere to a strict Code of Conduct, actively embracing the organisation’s Ethos and Values.
I guess I’ve always been a ‘people person’ and with a First Class Honours degree in English, and a Diploma in Creative Writing, I love to create unique ceremonies with story-telling at the heart.
Living in rural Sussex, I enjoy walking on the beautiful South Downs and in my spare time you’ll find me heading to the theatre, writing, crafting, or cooking up a storm for my large family and friends.
Being a true Celt, I adore creating ceremonies that incorporate unusual and unique rituals…with a little bit of esoteric and romantic symbolism thrown in!
I love getting to know my clients and ensuring that every single ceremony is truly personal and completely bespoke.

In my role as a Professional Celebrant, I design, write, and officiate unique and very personal ceremonies to celebrate and mark life’s pivotal moments. I work with my clients in a collaborative and very supportive way, ensuring your ceremony is exactly as you want it to be.
Whether creating a joyful wedding or vow-renewal ceremony, or delivering a meaningful funeral service to honour a life well-lived, I will work with you to create a uniquely personal and love-filled celebration.
Special days cannot be left to chance and with my many years of celebrant experience I will liaise with other professionals to ensure your ceremony runs smoothly and with absolutely no fuss.
As an award-winning writer, I adore crafting bespoke and joyful ceremonies, telling your story with love firmly at the heart! In crafting bespoke funerals, we will work together to remember and honour your loved-one with the deepest care and compassion.
