Wedding Law Reform - Russell Sandberg Monday, 27 April · 7:00 – 8:00pm The Law Commission Review - The 2026 Consultation. The consultation, expected in early 2026, will be open to everyone, including individuals, celebrants, organisations, and couples. Professor Sandberg stresses that collective engagement will be vital: “It’s essential that independent celebrants respond coherently and consistently. MPs and policymakers still don’t fully understand who independent celebrants are or what they do. This is the time to educate them.” Come and hear updates and ask Prof Sandberg any questions you have.
