Course Description

In this practical 90-minute session, we will take you through the step-by-step process of working with your couples - from the moment a booking is confirmed, right through to the wedding day itself. Designed for both new and developing celebrants, this training module clarifies and sets out expectations, strengthens your workflow, and gives you the confidence to guide your couples in the build-up to their big day. Together, we will explore a clear timeline that covers: *Utilising the ‘Couple’s Questionnaire’ to gather their story, preferences, style and ceremony priorities. *Planning and structuring online or in-person meetings: ‘the Discovery Call’, the story-gathering session, the ceremony-design session, and the final run-through and logistics check. *Conducting a venue visit to map out the ceremony area, aisle layout and processional details, check sound and space considerations, and ensure you feel completely prepared before the big day. *Crafting a personalised wedding ceremony, including music choices, vows (written, adapted or co-created), ring-exchange wording, symbolic rituals and unique, meaningful moments that reflect the couple’s relationship. *Managing ceremonial logistics: from liaising with planners and coordinators to ensuring the smooth running of the day, cueing music, and all while allowing the ceremony to feel natural, polished and emotionally resonant! By the end of the session, participants will have a practical framework they can apply immediately to create seamless, well-structured and beautifully personalised wedding ceremonies for every couple they work with.
