Hello, I'm Joy Neal
Let me introduce myself... I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, an aunty and a friend. I am a city girl who fell in love with the countryside as an adult.

A late-comer to the language and healing power of nature, I am a student of the seasons, the moon and stars, and the cyclical wisdom of the earth.

I am an enthusiastic forager, a cautious mushroom gatherer, a hugger of trees, a maker of plant medicines.
I am an extrovert who loves to be alone, appreciator of books, words, stories, and ideas. I am a collector of friends, a curator of words, a hoarder of photographs, a forgetter of names, a rememberer of flavours.
I seek to find the sacred in the everyday and the divinity in each person I encounter.
I am a questioner and seeker of truths - and invested in the journey as much as the destination.
​I am a work in progress - still evolving, ever changing, committed to always learning. An inhabitant of liminal spaces and grey areas.
I am an intuitive facilitator of ceremony and ritual. I am a talker, a listener, an empath and a holder of space.
I feel incredibly lucky to do something that I love for a living.
