Introduction

 

This policy explains what Celebrant Circle Ltd includes, and does not include, in its course fees.  It also sets out the cancellation process for students unable to attend a training course.

 

Celebrant Circle provides residential, 5-day training for new entrant celebrants, as well as C.P.D. courses and one-day training and development sessions.   

 

Students and members may wish to take out cancellation insurance cover, however Celebrant Circle cannot advise or recommend insurers.  

 

If insurance has not been taken out by members or students, the following cancellation process will be applied.

Fees

• The fees for courses run by Celebrant Circle Ltd includes all registration and certification costs. (This includes costs charged by any awarding organisation or education body.) Fees also include any training materials supplied, tuition fees, course workbooks, course handouts, student welcome pack, assessment costs and all administration costs. 

• For residential courses, all food and overnight accommodation are included. 

• Any non-standard room upgrades are paid for by the student or delegate.

• Additional room-service charges will be paid for by the student. 

• On one-day courses, refreshments during the day are included. 

• An agreed dinner allowance will be paid with students being responsible for any additional costs incurred over and above the dinner allowance. 

• Transport costs to and from courses are not included in the fees.

• Parking fees are not included in the course fees. 

 

Cancellation Procedures 

 

5-Day Courses

 

Cancellation up to one month before the start of the residential course:

 

• All learning materials must be returned and 50% of the full course fee will apply. 

 

Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the start of the residential course:

• 100% of the full course fee will apply. 

 

 

NOTE: Should Celebrant Circle Ltd agree that a student can be re-registered on a future course, a £40 administration fee will apply. 

 

 

C.P.D. sessions and One-day training seminars

 

Cancellation up to 2 weeks before commencement:

• 50% of the course fees will apply.

 

Cancellation of less than 1 weeks before the course

• 100% of the course fee will apply.

NOTE: 

 

Celebrant Circle Ltd reserves the right to consider each case on its own merit. 

 

Valid and reasonable reasons for the cancellation will be taken fully into account.

 

For example: Serious illness, accident, (student or close family relative) death (close family member), jury service, or court appearance. 

 

Documented proof must be supplied in all instances. 

 

Postponement to a later course may only be offered on one occasion only.
