Refresher Training for Celebrants

THE GOLD STANDARD

3 Day Winning Wedding Celebrant Training

with Nikki Kulin and Jacqueline Cale

The Celebrant Circle is delighted to introduce our 3-Day ‘Winning at Weddings’ Celebrant Training course.

This intensive training is designed for Professional Celebrants who wish to update and enhance their skillset and firmly establish their name and business on the lucrative weddings market. It’s designed to assist students who trained online - or via remote-learning - and who would love the opportunity to re-boot their confidence and experience ‘hands-on’ learning with experienced Celebrants and Celebrant Trainers.

The course would also suit Funeral Celebrants who would like to extend their portfolio to include Wedding and Family Celebrancy.

We extend a warm welcome ALL Professional Celebrants who would like to join this course – regardless of organisation, affiliation or previous training.

The course syllabus will include sessions on a variety of subjects, ranging from finding and capturing clients and working with them to plan, design and deliver a variety of bespoke Wedding Ceremonies and Vow Renewals, all the way through to follow ups and networking with other industry professionals.

Our training days are packed with fantastic content and all your training materials are provided on the course. You’ll work individually and in groups and - with the help of your trainers - will get the opportunity to experiment, experience and practice a range of beautiful rituals and unique ceremony enhancements.

On day three, we’ll shift the focus to Wedding Business Planning. With our proven expertise and experience in marketing - and Nikki’s amazing social media savvy - we’ll take a deep dive into identifying and celebrating your unique brand to ‘sell’ yourself as a fabulous Wedding Celebrant. We’ll re-vamp and revitalise your enthusiasm for this wonderful profession, and get you fired up, wedding-ready, and set to launch your wedding business with real va va voom!

This course is part of our ‘Gold Standard’ Celebrant Training syllabus and has a proven record of success. It’s delivered by highly experienced Professional Celebrants who are currently working in the U.K. and Europe.

Be prepared for three days of solid, hard work - there’s a LOT to cover but we guarantee you’ll meet some wonderful people, make new Celebrant friends, and have heaps of fun along the way!

Note: We suggest that in order to fully engage with the training, access to an ipad and laptop will be required for certain lessons. A basic knowledge of social media will be beneficial to get the most from our business marketing and promotional sessions.

A Typical Day

  • Meet for breakfast - or at 0845 for catch-up coffee and buns (obligatory!)

  • We begin our training days with reflection and consolidation of your previous learning, picking up and expanding on any gaps in your knowledge to consolidate and enhance your  understanding of the role. We outline the timetable and sessions for the day and set to work on the day's learning.

  • All sessions are live and fully interactive, with two trainers present in the room at all times. All of your training materials are provided and we utilise an array of teaching and learning methodologies - from good old-fashioned chalk-and-talk to interactive computer-based learning. We firmly believe that ‘to do is to learn’ and we’ll get you on your feet and actively involved, experimenting and practicing your craft every step of the way!

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided on the course with tea, coffee and snacks available mid-morning and afternoon.

  • Afternoon sessions may involve re-visiting ceremony design and planning, creative writing and public speaking. We’ll get you actively involved in role plays to practice how to interview and connect with potential wedding clients to turn those enquiries into firm bookings. The ‘choreography’ of ceremonies will get you on your feet and doing lots of hands-on practice. We’ll look at media and music enhancements to complement your writing skills and consider how you will market yourself as a Professional Wedding Celebrant. We will also take a look at designing unique, micro-ceremonies incorporating beautiful spiritual and esoteric content.

  • At the end of each day, we reflect on our learning, and you are assigned an evening task to complete and submit prior to arriving the following morning. (Nothing too arduous - we recognise you’ll have worked extremely hard during the day).

  • Whether the course is fully residential or non-residential, we offer you the opportunity to meet up and socialise with your colleagues and trainers in the evening. This is a great way to wind down, relax and ask all of those niggling questions that may crop up after the training day is complete!

  • All accommodation and meals are included on our residential courses, as well as pick-ups from the local rail station. If you wish to arrive at the venue on Sunday evening, we offer this additional night as complimentary to our students.

p.s.  We recommend that you clear your diary for the evenings during the three days you’re with us. It’s a pretty full-on course and you WILL be tired!

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE

Training with Jacqueline and Nikki was an incredible experience. There was so much to learn but they were incredibly thorough and their insider knowledge of the industry is second to none. There was laughter (and a few tears) as the week progressed but everyone was so supportive.  With our shared experience, I made friends for life. One of the best weeks of training ever. Thank you so much.”
